Practitioner Network 2016 Annual Survey now open

This is the fifth consecutive year that the Practitioner Network surveys practitioners to collect real-time impact and barrier data pertinent to the energy access sector. Being the largest membership-based network focusing on decentralized energy solutions, with a broad-based membership spanning 170 countries, the results of Practitioner Network surveys have a significant role in identifying remaining challenges in the sector, as well as making the case for your collective success and scale.

This year’s survey will be both regionally and technologically specific, with specific sections for solar PV, non-solar technologies, and mini-/micro-grids. In addition, we are soliciting responses for questions specifically designed for investors/donors active in the energy access space, government agencies, and research institutions/academia.

The portion of the survey spanning finance and investment has been jointly prepared with Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL). SE4ALL will use responses to the survey to inform their support to leaders so they can drive forward innovations that unlock the right types of capital at the right time for centralized and decentralized approaches to energy access. This includes support to deliver financing approaches that support access for the poorest and most marginalized people.

Please access the survey here and answer until August 18th.

This year’s survey will take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete and will have specific questions for practitioners working across the energy access spectrum.

Results of the survey will be made available to the public on website www.energyaccess.org later in the year.
