Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in São Tomé and Príncipe Report is now available!

The webinar “Sustainable Energy to accelerate green recovery in São Tomé and Príncipe post-COVID 19” took place last November 20, organised by ALER in partnership with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Natural Resources of São Tomé and Príncipe (MIRN).

 

The event had 120 participants, of which 57 representing private entities, 27 public entities and others from multilateral, education and training institutions. In geographic terms, we had a majority of participants from Portugal (60), followed by 21 from São Tomé and Príncipe.

 

The National Status Report on Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in São Tomé and Príncipe was presented. You can download the report available here for free.

 

The event was also attended by the national coordinators of the projects implemented by the international partners (AfDB/SEFA, WB/IEB, GEF/UNIDO and GEF/UNDP), as well as representatives of three private companies with renewable projects in the country (EDP Renováveis, Solo Solar Energy and CISAN).
