Lojas de Energia project presented at Hannover Messe

In the framework of Global Business & Markets Forum of Hannover Messe, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) organized a panel discussion dealing with the topic of Development Cooperation and the Economy.

Under the title “Renewable Energy and sustainable development projects in developing countries – impact of Higher Education” the panelists discussed and explored if and how cooperation between higher education institutions and enterprises in developing countries with special focus on renewable energies can work out.

Gilda Monjane, from the project "Lojas de Energia" (Energy Shops), was invited to be part of a panel of former scholarship students of DAAD.

The presentations were focused on how students use the knowledge acquired during their studies in Germany as experts in their fields of work back home; what are their tasks as experts in their companies and what kind of challenges they are facing in this area.

Gilda Monjane exposed the work that she has developed after her thesis about “Innovative Ideas of Photovoltaic Energy Distribution to Fill Energy Access Gaps identified during Master Studies Research”.
