RenMoz 2023 report available online

The Report of the 3rd edition of the Business Conference - Renewables in Mozambique (RenMoz 2023) is now available online. According to the document, the event established itself as the biggest conference in the renewable energy sector in Mozambique.

 

RenMoz 2023 had more than 550 participants from 39 different countries (260 on-site and 295 online), 31 speakers, 17 investors, 12 pitching companies, 13 sponsors and 7 exhibition stands. The event's overall satisfaction rating was over 93%.

 

The event, which took place in Maputo on 24th November 2023 following to the Mozambique-EU Global Gateway Investment Forum, brought together Mozambican and international renewable energy companies, along with government institutions, international development partners, universities and financiers.

 

Of the on-site participants, 53% were from the private sector, 11% from government institutions, 11% from NGOs, 10% from financial institutions, 7% from public companies, 7% are individuals and 2% from academia. In addition, 76% of these participants came from Mozambique.

 

The conference programme included institutional sessions to present government strategies and publicise priority projects; the official launch of the 3rd edition of the "Briefing: Renewables in Mozambique 2023" and GET.invest's "Market Insights do GET.invest sobre PIE e C&I"; "How to Access Resources" sessions; and private sector pitching sessions.

 

RenMoz2023 was organised by ALER and the Mozambican Renewable Energy Association (AMER), with the support of GET.invest Moçambique (funded by the European Union and Germany, and part of the European GET.invest programme).
