Santa Maria's Photovoltaic Solar Park will allow greater penetration of renewable energies in Cape Verde

With an estimated annual production capacity of 11 GWh, the Photovoltaic Solar Park in Santa Maria (Sal Island) is expected to prevent the emission of nine million tonnes of C02 per year and reduce the use of fossil fuels by around 2,500 tonnes/year.

This 5 MW solar park, which is being built by APP (an ALER member), will enable greater penetration of renewable energies in Cape Verde.
