Business Conference - Renewables in Mozambique 2022

The Business Conference - Renewables in Mozambique took place on December 6th and 7th, in Maputo and was transmitted online with simultaneous interpretation.


During the two days of the Conference, we brought together companies from the Mozambican and international renewable energy sector, together with Government Institutions, International Development Organizations, academic entities and financiers.


In an event that brought together more than 300 people, with the aim to debate the potential of renewable energy sources available that can be used to accelerate Mozambique's electrification rate, providing clean and affordable energy to all by 2030.


This Conference was organized by the Lusophone Association of Renewable Energy (ALER), together with the Mozambican Renewable Energy Association (AMER) and the Alliance for Rural Electrification (ARE), with the support of GET.invest Mozambique, financed by the Union European Union and Germany and integrated into the European program GET.invest.


This event intended to raise awareness for the investment potential for the private sector in Mozambique, highlighting the latest technological advances and the recently amended legal and regulatory framework.

The Conference offered parallel B2B Matchmaking opportunities for project developers, investors and funders, an exhibition area and the release of relevant market documents.

The "Briefing: Renewables in Mozambique 2022", was launched during the "Business Conference - Renewables in Mozambique 2022", and it's a reference document with the latest updates on the renewable energy market in Mozambique.
