São Tomé and Príncipe Validation Workshop

The Ministry of Infrastructure, Natural Resources and Environment of São Tomé and Príncipe (MIRNA) in partnership with United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and Lusophone Renewable Energy Association (ALER) organized a national workshop to validate the "National Renewable Energy Status Report of São Tomé and Príncipe" and  the "Strategic Program for the promotion of investment in renewable energy and energy efficiency in Electric Sector of São Tomé and Príncipe" project components. The workshop was organized with the Global Environment Facility (GEF) financial support. 

 

The event took place on June 14 in Brasil-São Tomé and Príncipe Training Center and had more than 60 participants representing the main stakeholders of the energy sector at national level.
