ADENE and ALER promote online session at AEF 2020

ALER and ADENE - Portuguese Energy Agency will organize an online session “Hosted Digital Dialogue on the Role of an Energy Network in Portuguese Speaking Countries” to be held on November 13th at 10 a.m. (GMT).

This session is part of the Africa Energy Forum 2020 program, the international reference event which brings together decision-makers and investors from Africa's energy, infrastructure, and industry sectors, and which this year takes place exclusively online.

The session will focus on the importance of institutional cooperation between organisations responsible for designing and implementing policies, programmes and measures in the promotion of energy efficiency and renewable energy, as well as on the role that cooperation networks pay in these areas.

Seeking to contribute to cooperation in the energy sector between the Member States of the Community of Portuguese-speaking Countries (CPLP), the panel intends to debate the relevance of creating a network of national energy focal points with the objective to promote information and experience exchange on energy efficiency and renewable energy matters.
