APREN Award 2016

The Portuguese Renewable Energy Association (APREN) has announced that applications for nominations for the second edition of the APREN Award 2016 are now open. The initiative aims to disclose, to the renewable electricity sector, academic dissertations carried out in Portuguese higher education institutions contributing to technology transfer and knowledge dissemination between research institutions and companies.
 

The creation of this award aims to distinguish the best academic dissertations, written in Portuguese or in English, under the theme of electricity generation from renewable energy sources, carried out in higher education institutions in Portugal.
 

The dissertation topic should be related to "electricity generation from renewable energy sources", particularly in the production, distribution, management and regulation fields, including scientific, technological, economic aspects and others to promote their sustainable development.
 

All applications must be delivered by 3 p.m., September 5, 2016
 

APREN Award 2016 includes an exhibition featuring selected student work in poster format and will run parallel to the Annual APREN Conference to be held on November 16, 2016.
