On March 13th representatives of the African Development Bank (AfDB) were in Lisbon to talk about the Lusophone Compact, explain what it is, which projects it finances and clarify doubts about the framework for financing new projects.
ALER actively participated in this seminar promoted by AfDB and the Multilaterals Working Group (AICEP and GPEARI-MF), which took place both online and in person.
During the event, ALER reinforced its commitment to promote access to Renewable Energy projects in Lusophone African countries, with the aim of becoming a partner of the Lusophone Compact. This initiative aims to expand the opportunities for sustainable development in countries available for financing, through the promotion of investments in renewable energy.
After the presentation of the Lusophone Compact and the Guarantee Agreement between Portugal and the AfDB, bilateral meetings were held with investors and interested companies.
