Women’s History Week: Stories Retold - Conversation about Women, energy and sustainability

In the week that marks World Women's Day, ALER, at the invitation of HEDEN Lisbon, will participate in a conversation about the perspectives, challenges and new discoveries of women in the area of ​​renewable energies.

 

This conversation will take place on March 10th at 18:30 pm (GMT) at the premises of Heden Lisboa in Santa Apolónia, and is part of the “Women’s History Week: Stories Retold” program which aims to be an enriching and informative meeting for all types of audience. The session will take place within the framework of the “Sustainable Energy Program for Women”, developed by ALER with the support of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).

The Women’s History Week: Stories Retold program has, each day, a female personality as a reference. This Thursday, March 10th, it honors Mária Telkes, an Hungarian-American scientist.  Considered one of the creators of the thermal storage system through solar energy, will  be the motto for this conversation dedicated to the topic of energy, women and sustainability.
