ALER and AMER launch RENMOZ 2023 Thematic Booklet

Following the success of the 3rd edition of the Business Conference - Renewables in Mozambique (RENMOZ 2023) in November last year, ALER and the Mozambican Renewable Energy Association (AMER) are now publishing the RENMOZ 2023 Thematic Booklet. The document has the support of GET.invest Mozambique, funded by the European Union and Germany, and part of the European GET.invest program.

This Thematic Booklet takes a close look at RENMOZ 2023, which has established itself as the largest conference in the renewable energy sector in the country, and includes articles on the reforms to the Electricity Law; the "Summary: Renewables in Mozambique 2023" and the "GET.invest Market Insights".

The publication also includes opinion articles, namely on cooperation between the European Union, Germany and Mozambique, by Ambassadors Antonino Maggiore (Germany) and Ronaldo Münch (European Union); renewable energies in Lusophony, by Mayra Pereira (President of ALER); social equity and environmental responsibility in the energy transition, by Ricardo Pereira (President of AMER); and the potential for investing in Mozambique, by José Mestre (Coordinator of GET.invest Mozambique).

In addition, the booklet also contains interviews with Mayra Pereira, Miquelina Menezes (President of the Board of ALER's General Assembly) and Olga Uchavo (Director of Renewable Energies at Electricidade de Moçambique).

This Thematic Booklet comes at a time when ALER and AMER are also announcing the date of RENMOZ 2024. The 4th edition, to be held on 27 and 28 November in Maputo, will have a larger number of participants, and a larger exhibition area and will reinforce the pitching sessions dedicated to attracting investment.
